As web developers, how could we help you maintaining the website?

Hello there,

As far as I know, there's only one person (Christian Strang) improving and maintaining 10FF.

I'm a web developer, and I'm sure there's a lot of us in the 10FF community. How can we help you to improve and maintain 10FF with you?

To be more specific, there's a issue today with the last 24h top 50 ranking (in french at least) and some other weird behaviors. I would like to help to fix those issues!

Thanks,

wRadion

Thank you for offering your help!

I'm currently training an additional developer to help maintain the site so that missing features and bugs get completed faster than how it is now.About the highscore table: this is a constant issue at the moment that I haven't found the source for yet, hope to get on top of it soon :)

Thanks for your answer!

Have you considered putting the source code on github (or bitbucket)? I mean, there's not really any thing private in your application (no modules that require payments for example), and apart from knowing how to cheat (which is already fixed by the anticheat anyway), this would allow other developers to help you directly!

I assume you already considered that in the past, but I'm wondering if there's any reason to not to :)

Thanks again

Not for now, this is still mostly a security thing as well as a performance issue. Unoptimized queries can really hurt the site (which is one of the reasons the highscore table is having issues at times, even though its heavily optimized in regards of caching etc.)

Also, my code is a mess ;)
