Everytime I enter the website and do a test I realize that I'm not logged in. I didn't even touch browser cookies or anything. it happens randomly.
Sorry about that! We are aware of this issue and currently investigating it!
Still trying to figure this out...
Me too. I started noticing a few days ago that I keep getting logged out.
I use the Google login, btw.
(Incidentally, I always get to the site through a Firefox keyword bookmark for the URL:
which isn't accessible if you're not logged in,
so I get redirected to:
@Owen: Did it work before? I thought it was always broken? Please let me know, maybe I can use older code to make it work, still trying to figure this out...
It definitely worked before!
I always used the Firefox keyword bookmark
(which is kinda like a shitty shell alias for the browser)
to access the page for the advanced test directly.
If it didn't used to keep me logged in,
that would never have worked.
Seems like the remember me function is working now, will keep testing it over the weekend. Let me know if it works for you or if you run into any issues.
Mh.. still logs me out after one or two hours, not sure why it worked yesterday...
I just tested it.
I signed in,
closed the tab,
then opened it again.
Success: I was still signed in.
I closed the tab,
and re-opened the tab.
I'll wait a few hours then try again,
but yeah, so far, it seems like it's fixed.
But I didn't see any "remember me" option when I first signed in.
Is there supposed to be a checkbox or something...?
btw, I didn't originally see the notification emails from "firstname.lastname@example.org" because my gmail sorted them into spam.
which is weird, because I signed up for this "10fastfingers.useresponse" thing *using* my google account...
anyway, just occurred to me you might want to pass that on to the "useresponse" people.
Let me know in a couple of hours if you are still logged in or not :)
Yup, still logged in after a couple days and one or two crashes.
A couple of days in at it still works for me (just at home it doesn't seem to be working...).
Staying logged in is now the default action, so please logout if you use 10FastFingers in a public space.
